Welcome to our blog.

That's us, Matthew and Jen. For those of you who don't know us, we're a couple of 20 going 30 somethings looking for adventure. We just got married in January and what better honeymoon than an epic journey across the world's two largest continents.

In short, we start with the Transmongolian train trip, with Australian company Vodka train (http://www.vodkatrain.com/) and then head to Africa for a bottom to top overland experience with UK company Oasis Overland (http://www.oasisoverland.co.uk/).

Our trip begins shortly when we fly out from Auckland on the 16th of March, and we don't expect to reach Cairo (the end of our trans-continent Africa tour) until the end of August. After that? Well, who knows?

Anyway, the plan is to keep all of you informed as to our progress, share some pictures, and maybe some videos using this blog. Questions and comments are very welcome.
